Become a Citizenship Education Intern empower Legal Permanent Residents (LPRs) on their path to U.S. citizenship. Throughout this internship you will work closely with our Citizenship Instructor to develop and assist outreach efforts, compile and mange student data, support classroom activities, and lead sessions. This internship is incredible opportunity to acquire essential skills in program management, cross-cultural communication, and teaching English and civics. Throughout this internship you will undertake a range of essential tasks, which include coordinating client moves, overseeing administrative duties, assisting with housing applications, and handling necessary documents. Resettlement Refugee Fieldwork Intern

Support the well-being of refugees in San Diego through the Refugee Fieldwork internship. You will play a vital role within the Resettlement department by assisting newly arrived refugees in overcoming barriers, directly aiding refugee clients, and contributing to the advancement of ongoing projects. The department is home to two key initiatives: Reception & Placement and Afghan Integration Resettlement Services. As an intern you will be offered the choice to work with specific programs or assisting both! Tasks within these programs consist of accompanying clients to appointments, facilitating airport pickups, setting up apartments, enrolling clients in services, and creating helpful guides. As the Career Programs Intern, you will be integral to assisting Career Program staff in the outreach and enrollment process of the clients, advancing ongoing projects, supporting administrative tasks, and developing guides and resources in multiple professional fields. Additionally, you will work directly with clients in their resume review, job search, networking opportunities, and interview preparation. Women’s Resilience Center Intern

Asylum Seeker and Families Program Intern

Take part in the Asylum Seekers and Families Program (ASF) and have a chance to make a meaningful impact. Your contributions as an intern will support both the ASF program and Survivor Advocacy Services (SAS). Internship duties may include supporting case management, accompanying clients to appointments, conducting outreach, and developing community partnerships. Survivor Advocacy Services Intern

Play a pivotal role in IRC San Diego's Human Trafficking case management program. As the Survivor Advocacy Services Intern you will support case management through community engagement and outreach. Responsibilities consist of conducting outreach, developing community partnerships, supporting clients in public benefit applications and accompanying them to appointments.
